Pasir Gudang is a city in Johor, a state in Peninsular Malaysia. The main industries in Pasir Gudang includes transportation and logistics, shipbuilding, petrochemicals and other heavy industries and oil palm industry. The origin of the name “Pasir Gudang” existence of sand mind at Kampung Ulu, where sand are dug and stocked and later on export to Singapore. Pasir Gudang had since transformed from a fisherman village into an industrial area that produces goods for exports. The main industries there mostly involve petrochemicals, telecommunications, food products and electronic goods.
