Ipoh is the capital city of Perak in Peninsular Malaysia. It was declared a city in Year 1988. In recent years, Ipoh’s popularity has been significantly boosted by efforts to conserve its British colonial-era architecture. It is well known for its local delicacies and its natural attractions such as limestones hills and caves where Buddhist temples were built. Ipoh has been made the major land transportation hub within West Malaysia as it is strategically situated in between Kuala Lumpur and George Town.
